CLIFTON FORK, Va. - Billy Isaac Hylton, 73 years of age of Clifton Fork, VA, passed away Friday November 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Clifton Fork, VA April 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Isaac Wesley Hyton, Jr. and Mary Etta Rose Hyton Deskins.

Billy was a retired coal miner having worked in the mines for fifty years. He loved to work and enjoyed taking care and riding his horses. He was of the Christian faith, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Cloyd Deskins; sisters, Madeline Deskins, Virgie Davis, Della Ferrell, Georgia Powers; brothers, Charlie, Frazier, Ellis, Otis, Henry, Leondis, Elmer, John and Eugene Hylton; daugher-in-law, Regina Hylton.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years and ten months, Shirley Sue Clifton Hylton of Clifton Fork, VA; five daughters, Jacqueline (Ralph) Shawver of Lacey, WA, Teresa (Gallie) Horn of Cedar Bluff, VA, Tonya Hylton, Clifton Fork, VA, Kayla Milhoan of Clifton Fork, VA, Trista Hylton and fiance, Eric Altizer of Lebanon, VA; two sons, Wesley Hylton of Cedar Bluff, VA and Willie Hylton of Richlands, VA.

Also survived by ten-grandchildren, Eric Burns and fiance Kellie Arnold, Kelly (Patrick) Palzer, Catherine (Derek) Saucier, Naranda (Bradley) Compton, Josh (Michelle) Hylton, Chelsa Hylton, Samuel Hylton, Roxann Stanley, Alice Stanley and Jacob Stanley; three great-grandchildren, Garrett, Jaxon and Cheyenne; God children, Brandy, Emily and Aiden.

Mass services for Billy Isaac Hylton will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the St Mary's Catholic Church, Richlands, VA with Father Felix officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.

Evening services will be held at the Richlands Tabernacle, Richlands, VA with Rev. Philip Horton. The family will receive friends at the Richlands Tabernacle Church after 6:00 p.m. Sunday and at the St Mary's Catholic Church, Monday at 2:00 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be: John Lester, Garrett Milhoan, Eric Burns, Eric Altizer, Bradley Compton, Derek Saucier, Wayne Hylton, Danny Hylton, Scottie Hylton, Steve Hylton.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Dickie, Sonny, John, Jack and Bud Plaster, Dean Rose, Eddie Deskins, Tony Deskins and all the men he worked with in the Mines for so many years.
