Rich Creek, VA - Betty Jean Davis, 94, of Princeton, died peacefully Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek VA.

Born November 26, 1931, at Priemer, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Early Abbott and Rachel Kelly Williams Abbott.

Jean graduated from Welch High School and briefly attended West Virginia Tech. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She along with her late husband raised bees & owned and operated Harold's Honey for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, crafts and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Harold Lee Davis, a brother, Ronald Franklin Abbott, sister-in-law, Betty Jo Abbott & brother-in-law, Marvin Lawrence.

Those left to cherish her memory, four loving children and spouse, Ricki & Glenn Bevil, Patrick & Theresa Davis, Kelly Davis & Hayden Wimmer, & Mark Davis. Seven grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. One sister, Rachel Ramona Lawrence.

In honoring the wonderful and full life of Jean Davis, her service will be held11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Dennis Kinnan & Conner Turpin as the speakers. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service time.
