Morgantown - Bernadette Marie Dragich,

74, of Princeton, formerly of

Fairmont, passed away Tuesday

morning June 24, 2025 in

Morgantown.

She was born on October 30,

1950 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George J. Sr. and Theresa Susa Dragich.

Bernadette retired from

Bluefield State University as a

professor of nursing with over

30 years of teaching. She was

passionate about helping her

students succeed. She graduated from Uniontown School of Nursing, master's degree in nursing from

West Virginia University and her doctorate in Philosophy from Virginia Tech.

Bernadette is survived by

her two sons Benjamin

Thomas Mirabile of Morgantown and Nicholas Charles Mirabile of Princeton. She is also survived by two brothers, George and wife Donna

Dragich and Thomas Dragich, all of Fairmont. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Christopher Laratta, Anthony (Danielle) Laratta, and son Carter, Laura Laratta, Matt Dragich and Kathy Dragich.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Therese Laratta.

Friends and family will be

received at Immaculate Conception

Catholic Church, 329 Maryland Avenue on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with Fr. Kishore Varaparla, HGN as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations

may be made to Bluefield State University, 219 Rock Street, Bluefield, WV 24701, C/O Program f Associate Degree Nursing.
