Princeton - Barbara Dempsey Ganoe, 79, of Princeton passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her Parents Walt & Josephine Dempsey, her Beloved Husband of 55 years, Roger Ganoe, Siblings Donna and Scott Dempsey.

Left to remember her legacy, her daughter, Rhonda Lamb (Adam) and their three daughters, Lauren Lamb-Annas (Keaton), Sarah Lamb and Chloe Lamb.Her step-sons Bob Ganoe (Delanda) and their sons Christopher, Kaleb and Ethan. Brian Ganoe (Chrissy) and their sons Josh and Brycen, along with three great grandchildren.

She is survived by her siblings Randy Dempsey, Alan Dempsey (Rita) and Debra McIntosh, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Barbara dedicated over 45 years working in the medical office field, where her kindness and compassion touched many lives. Outside of work she found great joy in being by the water, gardening and spending time with her family.

Following Barbara's wishes, she has been cremated.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour. . In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Barbara's honor to Hospice of the Piedmont, located at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27265, as a show of appreciation of their care for Barbara.
