Alvin Henry Nipper
Alvin Henry Nipper, 81, of Falls Mills, VA, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020. Born in Pisgah, VA, he was the son of the late Claude Lee and Katherine Gross Nipper. He was a long time member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Bluefield, WV. He had served his country in the United States Army and retired from Amerisource Medical Supply, (formerly Albers and Skyland Hospital Supply), after over 34 years of service. Alvin loved being in his yard on his John Deere Tractor working, he liked fishing trips, camping and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Ann Bishop; brothers: Roy and David Nipper; grandson: Jordan Michael Nipper.
He will be lovingly missed by his sons: Michael Nipper of Falls Mills, VA, Troy Nipper and companion, Frankie Vanessa Brewster of Lovingston, VA, Chris Nipper and wife, Kim of Bluefield, VA and Gary Nipper and wife, Necole of Bluefield, VA; siblings: Dinnie Nipper and wife, Janice of N. Tazewell, VA, Larry Nipper and wife, Margaret of Tazewell, VA, Margaret Kidd of Bluefield, WV, Pauline Clower of Statesville, NC, Sue Brooks of Bluefield, VA and Sherry Finley and husband, Carl of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren: Cory Nipper, Amy Bradberry, Samantha Nipper, Preston Nipper, Carter Nipper and Zachary Nipper; great-grandchildren: Madalyn Shrader and Raylan Blevins.
In compliance with the CDC regulations, the service for Alvin will be for the immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, it is the family's request that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Alvin's life at a later date and time for the public.
Dudley Memorial is serving the Nipper family.
