Violet Jeanette's Story
Violet Jeanette Bishop Green 84, of Centerville went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday July 23, 2017.
Born September 23, 1932 in Asco, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Hazel Fairbanks Bishop.
Jeanette was a longtime faithful member of the Pineville Church of the Nazarene, over the years she taught Sunday school, vacation bible school, worked in the church kitchen, and sang in the choir. The light of her life was her children and grandchildren, she loved spending time with them every chance she got.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years Elmer Green, who passed away June 8, 2017, her daughter Terri Morrow, her granddaughter Chasity Ford, two brothers Harrison "Skeeter" Bishop, and Virgil Bishop, two sisters Mary Olivia "Libby Sue" Bishop, and Margie Wirt.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, DeWayne Green and his wife Robin, Kenneth Green and his wife Angela, and Sjon Green and his wife Mae, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Norman Bishop, Wayne Bishop, and Johnny Bishop, two sisters Ramona Mays, and Veda Toney, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dearly loved friends.
Services honoring the life of Jeanette Green will be held Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Noon, at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Elmer in Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until service time Wednesday at the church.
