Thomas Howard's Story
LEBANON, Va. — Mr. Thomas Howard "Tommy" Taylor, age 74, of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Tuesday (January 10, 2017) at his home. Born September 30, 1942 in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Harold Eugene and Irene Belle Howard Taylor. He loved his family and exemplified that love through his devotion as caregiver to his mother during her time of illness. A talented electrician, he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local # 466. He attended Lebanon Memorial United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include one aunt, Helen Howard Finney of Lebanon, Virginia and cousins, Shirley Howard Lunsford, Patricia Skeen, Carolyn Howard Barton, Sandy Spengeman, Greg Finney, Pamela Howard Wallace, Jim Skeen, Larry Howard, Mike Skeen, Howard Finney, Doug Howard, Kay Howard Carter, Vicki Scott, Mary Lynn Malamisuria, Jane Waddell, Jack Howard and Charlie Bob Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Ralph Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Honaker, Virginia.
Cousins and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home at 10 AM Saturday.
