PRINCETON Tammy Lou Ellison, 52, of Glady Fork Lane, Princeton died suddenly Friday, July 28, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem NC. Tammy has gone home to be with her Lord & Savior after a painful & courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 11, 1965 in Bethesda MD, she was the daughter of the late William Earl Davis & Glenna Mae Johnson Davis.
Tammy was educated in Mercer County and was serving as secretary for Dr. Jana Peter's medical office in Princeton. While her health permitted, she loved to travel, work in her flower garden and was an avid animal lover. She was a faithful member of Peaceful Valley Church at Gardner.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Frank Dalton Ellison of Princeton, her loving siblings: Starlene Alford & husband Paul of Princeton and Sammy Davis & wife Kathryn of Bluewell. Niece and nephews, Paul Wesley Alford, Belinda Alford, Joshua Davis & wife Melissa, & Earl Davis.
Life celebration services will be held for Tammy, 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Delmar Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
