PRINCETON — Shirley Ann Hebb, 81, of Princeton, died Friday, April 7, 2017. Born July 8, 1935 at Red Dragon, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Sims and Audrey Curry Sims.
Mrs. Hebb was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. She played the piano and organ during her husband's ministry. She enjoyed organizing the Christmas programs at the churches her husband pastored. She also was a children's Sunday School teacher. She was an avid seamstress and made many quilts, dolls and all her own clothes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Hebb in 2005; and by six siblings.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Hebb of Welch; one son, Randy Hebb and wife Rita of Princeton; one granddaughter, Candace Rode and husband Yancy of Princeton; four great-grandchildren, Ariel, Brian, Brent and Kinsley Rode all of Princeton; and one sister, Jean Hale of Charleston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 10, 2017 from noon until service hour at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
