Sarah Jo's Story

Sarah Jo Brooks White, 87, of Easley SC, formerly of Princeton died Monday evening, October 9, 2017 at the Easley Baptist Hospital in Easley SC.
Born May 10, 1930 at Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Wirt Taylor Brooks & Mildred Hazel Cahill Brooks.
She was educated in Mercer County, graduated from Concord College, and retired from the Celanese Corporation in Narrows VA with more than 35 years of service.
While living in Princeton, she was an active member of the Kee Street United Methodist Church. While her health permitted, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching birds, crafts and talking to her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Jackson White.
Survivors include her four children & their spouses: Ellen & David Giffin of Easley SC, Richard White of Princeton, Amy & Dean Marshall of Pembroke VA, Beth & Mikie Farley of Princeton.
Additionally, she enjoyed 10 grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Angie & Lance Davidson, Matthew & Sarah Giffin, Taylor White, Zac Giffin, Luke Jackson & companion Elise Sawtelle, Lyndsey Jackson & fiancée Jeffrey Lantz, Lauryn Marshall, Hunter Farley, Logan Farley & Sarah Farley.
And the sparkles in her eye were her 3 great grandchildren: Tynsley Giffin, Giffin Davidson & Jackson Giffin.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton by 10:45 A.M.
Sarah Jo will be remembered for her loving, caring and warm personality.
