BRAMWELL — Sandra Kay Rose age 69 of Clark Hill Road, Bramwell, WV died Saturday, February 18 at a Bluefield hospital. Born October 11, 1947 in Welch, WV she was a daughter of the late Junior Lonnie Rose and Dora Alma Horton Rose of Bluefield, WV.
Sandra was of the Baptist faith and a retired LPN. She has been a resident of Bramwell since 1992, moving here from New York. She was a family loving woman, proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved telling stories, was a former Boy Scout Leader and women's soccer coach, and was always active in her children's sports activities.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister Doreen Martini.
Sandra is survived by her daughter: Nadja Brodesser of Freeman, WV, sons: Jamie Brodesser and his wife Crystal of Montvale, VA and Klaus Brodesser and his wife Kimberly of Roanoke, VA, brothers: John Rose and his wife Joan of Cobleskill, NY and David Rose and his wife Laurie of Moneta, VA, grandchildren: Brandon Overstreet, Alyssa Brodesser, Darius Brodesser and Caden Brodesser, great-grandchildren: Maddox Overstreet, Ryder Overstreet and Jaxon Brodesser.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Mooney officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Bluewell, WV. Those attending graveside services are asked to meet Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home by 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Brandon Overstreet, Darius Brodesser, Caden Brodesser and friends.
