PRINCETON — Samuel Allen "Sam" Grose, 62, of Princeton, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Beckley.
Born November 6, 1954, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Billy Harold Grose and Mary Magdeline Richardson Combs. He was the former vice-president of Finn Construction Company and owner Pittsburgh Patio and Sun Rooms. He last worked as a contractor for Freedom Walk-In Tubs.
He was a graduate of Bluefield State College and attended church in Pittsburgh and Princeton.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by daughters, Kaitlin Hustead and husband James of Coraopolis, PA, and Samantha Grose of Princeton; sons, Chase Grose and companion Nicole Comer of Roanoke, VA, and Brandon Grose of Gainsville, GA; four grandchildren; sisters, Dreama Kay Butler of Princeton and Kimberly Dawn Williams of Hawaii; special niece, Heather Ellis; and canine companion Mollie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ronnie Richards officiating.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Veteran's Cemetery in Dublin, VA.
