PRINCETON — Robert Ray Miller, Sr., 59, of Princeton, formerly of Vivian, WV, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born September 24, 1957 in Elkton, MD he was the son of the late William E. Miller and Mary Annis Lowe Miller. He was a former general laborer for several companies in McDowell County and Maryland. He had spent most of his life in McDowell County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Miller and Ray Miller; and two sisters, Patty Mitchem and Wilma Jean Hodge.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Ray Miller, Jr. and wife Amanda and Joshua Allen Miller all of Princeton; four grandchildren, Alex Miller, Alyssa Miller, Kameron Miller, and Laken Garrett; three sisters, Betty Mitchem of Kimball, Martha Kendall of Elkton, MD and Kathy Dillon and husband Ed Ball of Kimball; two brothers, Michael Miller of Princeton and Kenneth Miller of Elkton, MD; and special friend, Kathy Cook of Bluefield, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Vivian, WV. Burial will follow at the Miller Family Cemetery in Vivian. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the church from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Wednesday.
