BALLARD — Robert "Keith" Mann, 63, of Ballard, WV, formerly of Bluefield and Princeton, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA.
Born December 20, 1953 in Princeton he was the son of the late Frank L. Mann and Sadie Scarberry Mann. He was a 1971 graduate of Peterstown High School. Keith was employed as Parts Manager at Ramey Motors in Princeton with twenty five years service. He was a motorcycle enthusiast that loved working on them and riding with his wife. He also enjoyed working on cars and carpentry work.
Keith was a self taught guitarist that loved teaching and playing guitar with his grandson. His greatest joys in life were his wife, daughter, and grandson.
Keith was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by his family, extended family, co-workers and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John L. Mann; and two brothers-in-law, David Booth, Jr. and Ronnie Bratsis.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Deborah S. "Debbie" Bratsis Mann of Ballard (married for 39 years would be 40 years on August 20, 2017); one daughter, Karen Renae Mann Hicks and husband Robbie of Duhring, WV; one grandson, Robbie Hicks II (his best buddy) of Duhring; one sister, Mescal Booth of Ballard; two brothers, Raymond Mann and wife Hilda of Harrisonburg, VA and Lewis Mann of Bluefield; several nieces and nephews (including special niece, Danielle Bratsis), and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Rob Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at the Keaton Cemetery in Greenville, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Blackwell, Brian Chatman, Roger Phillips, Wes Eller, Mike McClaugherty, and Wayne Young. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be his grandson, Robbie Hicks, II.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2017.
