PRINCETON Patricia Worles Hunt, 72, of Princeton, went home to the Lord on June 29. Born in Hinton, Patricia lived in Barnegat, N.J., for several years before residing in Princeton. A graduate of Hinton High School and Bluefield State College, Patricia was a nurse for more than 40 years, retiring as a Registered Nurse in 2015.
Patricia was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Princeton. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers Club at Princeton Health and Fitness. Patricia enjoyed challenges and learning new things, as well as crafting, painting, dancing, gardening and Bible studies with family and friends. Her dogs, Jessie and Watson, commonly known as her "boys," brought much joy to her life during the past nine years.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse Worles and Sadie Hank.
Patricia is survived by her brother, James Worles and wife, Patricia, of Hinton, as well as her three children: daughter Tammy Ratliff Howell and her husband, Malcolm, of Princeton, son David Ratliff of Princeton, and daughter Melissa Patrick Biggy and her husband, David, of Barnegat, N.J. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Mecot E. Camara and his wife, Andrea, Preston Howell, Leia Howell Funari and her husband, Robert, Jon Ratliff, Lora Ratliff Vanover and her husband, Jesse, and Herbert L. Wills III, as well as four great-grandchildren, Kahlan Camara, Alixx Lowe, Isaac Funari and Gabriel Vanover, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Patricia Hunt will be private.
