Patricia's Story

On Wednesday, August 2, 2017 Patricia P. Cromer, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was of the Christian Faith, and a member of the Bluefield Virginia Church of God. She was a compassionate loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She celebrated life every day, blessing and encouraging her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Charles Proffitt and Edward L. Cromer; a brother, Charlie (Rossie) Boothe; and three sisters, Margaret Shrewsbury, Jaqueline Jessee, and Betty Jean Hudgins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Mrs. Diana Rhinehart and husband, Frank of Princeton, WV and Charlene Zeisig and husband, Wolfgang of Bluefield, VA; two sisters, Joyce B. Yopp of Moneta, VA and Billie B. Burton of Abingdon, VA; precious granddaughters, Christina (Chrissy) and husband, Steve of Garner, NC and Aja Rhinehart of Raleigh, NC; numerous nieces, nephews which completed her life.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Bluefield Virginia Church of God with Pastor Tony Ellis officiating. Following the services, Patricia will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Saturday at the church.
We will soon be reunited and once more our family circle will be unbroken in Heaven.
