PRINCETON Norma Lee Ruble, 85, of Planet Drive, (Elmore Addition) Princeton, went to be with her Lord following a sudden illness late Wednesday evening July 12, 2017.
Born August 10, 1931 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Roy Mason & Lula Perdue Mason.
Norma was educated in Mercer County and was a graduate of WV Business College.
Norma retired from the Kroger Company in Princeton after many years of service. She will long be remembered for her great cooking and her many homemaking skills. She carried a big stick and her family always respected her and loved her for her many strengths and determination.

After retirement, she and her late husband Bob enjoyed many trips to the Chesapeake Bay area to fish and for a long time, spent many winters in Florida.
She met and married Robert C. Ruble, the love of her life.
They had three children: Susan York who predeceased her, David and Becky Ruble of Princeton, Carol and Jon Fairfield of Bonita Springs FL; Grandchildren: Trish Ruble, David Ruble II, Michelle Islam, Christopher Criner, Stephen Criner, Jamie York & Charles B. Coates; Sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her two sisters; Alice Lee & Shirley Gillespie.
Service to celebrate the life of Norma Ruble will be held 2:00P.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Tom Carpenter officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of the Wildwood Mausoleum in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
