BLUEFIELD — Myles Van Workman, 72, of Bluefield, WV; went home to be with the Lord with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 following a long illness.
Born December 28, 1944 he was a son of the late Aubrey Coubert Workman and the late Ethel Louise Workman.
Myles loved electronics, HAMM Radio, and music. He was a very sweet, gentle and kind person who loved everybody.
He was a former Dispatcher for both the Princeton Police Department and the Mercer County Sherriff's Department. He was of the Christian Faith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 29 years, Bonnie Workman of Bluefield, WV; a brother, Aubrey Workman, Jr and wife, Sarah of Bluefield, WV; two nephews, Butch Workman and wife, Mary Ann of Roanoke, VA and Carl Michael Workman of Danville, VA; lifetime friend, Charlie Poe of Athens, WV; special friend, Euva Woody of Rocky Gap, VA; extended family and several great friends that has shown so much love and compassion.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Myles Van Workman will be held 1:00PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Ten Commandments Garden with Pastor Darrell Bailey officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the Graveside Service at Roselawn Funeral Home.
