PRINCETON — Margarette Elizabeth Spangler, 68, of Princeton, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at her residence. Born November 29, 1948 in Kegley, she was the daughter of the late Willie J. Hubbard and Gertrude Hester Young Hubbard.
Margarette formerly worked as a clerk at East End Food Mart in Princeton and also as a waitress at Hamden's Restaurant in Princeton. She attended Princeton Community Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Tony Ray Fitzko; six half-brothers and sisters; and six step-brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her fiance' and companion of 16 years Donald D. Reed, Sr. of Princeton; one son, Terry Jacob Fitzko and wife Dawn of Mullens; three daughters, Jennifer Lynn Ferguson and husband Anthony of Camp Creek, Kandi Shrader and husband Eric of Fountain Inn, SC, and Robin Roope of Princeton; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grand children; three brothers, Bobby Hubbard and wife Janie of Princeton, Charles Young and wife Marian of Jonesboro, TN, and Willis "Bucky" Hubbard of Princeton; two sisters, Mary Monk of Hillsville, VA and Helen Malicoat and husband Ray of Satsuma, FL; and her faithful canine companion Rusty Dale.
In keeping with Margarette's wishes her body has been cremated and there will be no services.
