PRINCETON - Margaret Law, 87, of Princeton, died Saturday, March 25, 2017. Born October 15, 1929 at Lerona, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Logan Cox and Ora Lilly Cox.
Mrs. Law was a member of Church of Christ in Princeton. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and doing her puzzle books. In the last few years, she enjoyed talking on the phone with Judy and Joan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Law in 2003; one son, Jack Law; and five sisters, Ilene Quesenberry, Irene Neely, Pemmel Griffith, Retha Ellison, Lois Poltrack; and three brothers, Claude Cox, Delbert Cox and J.C. Cox.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Oxley and husband Bill of Princeton; one sister, Hallie (Punk) Crockett and husband Howard of Princeton; two grandchildren, Scott Oxley, MD and wife Ann Marie of Morgantown and Tracy McKenzie, APRN and husband Stan of Athens; five great-grandchildren, Lydia, Grant and Elaina Oxley and Daelynn and Autumn McKenzie; one sister-in-law, Judy Cox of Lerona; and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with Elder Joe Besenyei officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2017 from noon until 1:45 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
