Lucy Marie's Story
KOPPERSTON Lucy Marie Davis Baldwin, 95, of Charlottesville, VA, formerly of Kopperston, WV, died peacefully, Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Charlottesville, VA.
Born June 12, 1922 in Hiawatha, WV, she was the daughter of the late Estil Armstrong and Alie Pennington Davis.
Lucy was a former member of the Kopperston Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Victor Baldwin, two grandchildren, Larry Gayle Baldwin II & Kim Bolden, Nine brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her loving children: Clyde Victor Baldwin, Jr. (Joan), Bill Baldwin (Kitty), Brenda Ann Baldwin Colley (Mike), Mike Baldwin (Mary), Pamela Baldwin Ray (Mitch), Larry Baldwin (Amy) and Gary Baldwin (Neva); daughter-in-law, Peggy Baldwin; Nineteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lucy Marie Davis Baldwin will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road with Pastor Dick Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
