Lena J.'s Story
BELLEVUE, Mich. — Lena J. Presley Waddill, 96, of Bellevue, MI, formerly of Princeton died Friday, January 27, 2017 in Bellevue.
Born November 21, 1920 in Meador, WV she was the daughter of the late Elbert G. and Mary M. Browning Presley.
Lena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and had been a Salvation Army Volunteer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Willard Waddill and was the last surviving member of her family.
Lena is survived by one daughter: Marianne Waddill Wieland and her husband Douglas of Bellevue, MI; Two grandchildren: Scott Wieland and Steven Wieland; One great-grandson: Liam Weiland; Host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lena Presley Waddill will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 3, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Her nephew Darrell Presley will give the Eulogy. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
