NORTH, Va. — A cancer warrior, Joseph Mark "Joey" Knuckles, age 50 of the Baptist Valley community in North Tazewell, VA went home to be with his Lord Saturday, December 24, 2016. Born November 18, 1966 at Cleveland, OH, he was a son of Mack C. Knuckles and the late Dorothy Day Knuckles.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by sisters, Tammy Dyess, Cathy Batt, and Deborah Shepard; brothers, Billy Larkin and Gary Knuckles.
In addition to his father, Mack C. Knuckles he is survived by five brothers, Russell Christian, Ricky Knuckles, Randy Knuckles, Timothy Knuckles, and Kimmy Knuckles; seven sisters, Barbara Walters, Patty Dixon, Betty Dunn, Vickie Christian, Cynthia Loesser, Sheri Mueller, and Tina Knuckles his sister, caregiver, and best friend; numerous nieces and nephews including Maddox and Aubrey House.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday, January 13, 2017 at Peery & St.Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where a memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM with Pastor Andre Wallace officiating.
