BELVEDERE, S.C. — Memorial Services for Mr. Jerry Ray Walker, 83, of Hampton Circle, who entered into rest January 6, 2017, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Private family inurnment will be held in Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Walker was a native of Princeton, West Virginia, having made Belvedere, SC his home for the past thirty years. He was a Baptist and was a retired U. S. Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jolene and Cody; two brothers, Ronnie and Daniel; a sister, Melda.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Annemarie Walker; six children, Heidi Houston, (Ron), Cindy Lee Deines (Mike), Sylvia Dinkins (Mitch), Raleigh Walker (Cindy), Randy Walker (Heike) and Ursula Fox (Larry); fourteen grandchildren, Bronson, Zachary, Matthew, Melissa, Amanda, Brittney, Anja, Anna, Jessie, Savanna, Preston, Tabitha, Amalie and Samantha; twenty one great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Arnold, Yvonne, Darlene and Willard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
