BECKLEY — Jerry Franklin Bulford, Jr. 40, of Beckley and formerly of Brushfork, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
Born on December 16, 1976 in Kingwood, he is a son of Jerry Franklin and Terri Lynn Bulford of Brushfork. He was a veteran of the US Marines, where he was a certified aircraft mechanic for the AirWings. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and loved motorcycles. He was a talented tattoo artist. Survivors in addition to his parents include his: Wife: Jessica Edwards Bulford of Beckley; Son: Jerry Franklin Bulford, III of Brushfork; Daughter: Joana Patricia Bulford of Palmdale, CA; Sisters: Martha Jean "Jeanne" Webb and husband Aaron of Bristow, VA, Sara Lynn Harper and Larry, Jr. of Princeton; Nephews: George Alexander Webb and Liam Douglas Harper; Niece: Katie Lynn Harper; Paternal grandparents: John Franklin and Martha Belle Bulford of Rowlesburg, WV; Maternal grandparents: Dallas Wolfe, Jr. and Jean Wolfe of Rowlesburg, WV; A host of aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved and cherished.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Bluewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Rector officiating. Friends may call at the church, prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 on Monday.
Additional memorial services will be conducted on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Rowlesburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Harold George officiating. Friends may call at the church, prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children; 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
