KIMBALL — Geraldine McPeak 57 of Kimball, WV, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 27, 2017 after a short illness. Born February 16, 1960 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of Georgie Perdue of North Tazewell, VA.
Geraldine was affiliated with the Church of God Faith. She made her home with her son, Donnie H. Moore whom she loved with all her heart. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and was a resident of McDowell County most of her life.
Geraldine was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, her father, Buford McPeak, stepfather Willie Perdue, one sister Shelby Woolum and one brother Charles McPeak.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her son, Donnie H Moore and wife Glenna of the home, four brothers: Jimmy McPeak of Tazewell, VA, Bobby Roberts of Princeton, WV, Roy Roberts of Athens, WV, and Stevie Roberts of Princeton. Five sisters: Patricia Roberts and Diane McPeak both of Pearisburg, VA, Debbie Graham and Phyllis Roberts of Princeton, WV, and Glenna Roberts of Lancaster, PA. Two uncles, Jackie Mullins and companion Kathy Bishop of Kimball, WV, and Roger Mullins and wife Marcella of Delaware, MD. Two aunts, Nellie Rowe and husband Jr. of Bluefield and Sharon Mullins of Corinne, WV. Geraldine was also blessed with four grandchildren: Frankie Church, Melissa Church, Angela Brooks and Debbie Mullins. Two great-grandchildren: James L. Ferrell and Megan Ferrell. Nieces: Sherry Green, Becky Frost, Tanqueray Woolum and Mariah McPeak. Great niece, Shelby Green. Nephew, William Woolum. Special friends, Jane and Roger Stanley and a host of other extended
family and friends.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:PM at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel in Northfork, WV, with Pastor Michael Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock House Cemetery in Kimball, Carswell Hollow, WV.
Friends may call from 12: Noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Green, Shannon Mullins, Dewey Woolum, Timmy Godson, Josh Rowe and Kevin Bishop.
