KEGLEY — Frances Masters, 92, of Kegley died Friday, February 24, 2017 at her home. Born March 17, 1924 at Princeton she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Christian and Callie Lilly Christian.
She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and a homemaker. She loved gardening and sewing. Her goal was to take care of her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Furman Masters; one sister, Suda Prince; three brothers, Toye Christian, Archie Christian and Kermit Christian; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Survivors include five children, Charles Masters and wife Alice of Camp Creek, Sarah Harmon of Kernersville, NC, Shirley Miller of Kegley, Doug Masters and wife Tina of Kernersville, NC and Scott Masters of Kegley; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. C. T. Lilly, III officiating. Interment will follow at Lilly-Christian Cemetery at Camp Creek. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, February 27 at the funeral home.
