Elizabeth Cleo's Story
BLUEFIELD — Elizabeth Cleo "Sugar" Dillon, 75 of Ada Road, Bluefield died Friday, December 23, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Mercer County on June 29, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Bailey and Thelma Cleo Brown Bailey. She was a lifelong resident of Ada was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo. She attended the Ada Chapel at Ada.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Dillon and one son, Carl M. Dillon, Jr.
Survivors include four daughters, Shelia Roland and her husband Barry of Princeton, Debbie Bailey and her husband Gregg of Speedway, Lisa Johnson and her husband Danny of Green Valley and Sherry Cook and her husband Fred of Bluefield, VA. One son, Dewey Sampson Dillon and fiancee Tanya Sage of Bluefield. Grandchildren, Marsha, Heather, Adam, Scottie, Dusty, Danny Ray, Crystal, Brent, Brandon, Brooke, Hunter, Dylan, Halle and Collin. Great Grandchildren, Gage, Micah, Taylor, Luke, Destiny, Raine and Anston. Two Brothers, Pete Bailey and Jimmy Bailey. Five Sisters, Donna Nichols, Dorothy Bailey, Ruth Goins, Rita Hylton and Kathy Blake.
Services to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Cleo "Sugar" Dillon will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the G.E. Davis Funeral Chapel of the Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery on the Peggy Branch Road, Ingleside. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
