Elizabeth Ann's Story
PRINCETON — Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Shuck, 74, of Princeton died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village in Princeton. Born February 23, 1942 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Jennings Williams, Jr. and Nora B. Coburn Williams.
She was the bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Shuck's Garage in Princeton and Bill Shuck Texaco in Athens. She was a member of Advent Christian Church in Princeton. Her passions were fast cars, country music, and animals, especially her birds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Bill Shuck; grandson, Billie Dakota Shuck; brother, Kenneth Clayton Williams; and sister, Julia Marie Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Audra Shuck Wilkins and husband Chris of Norfolk, VA, and Lisa Gayle Shuck of Princeton; four sisters, June Gunter, Dana Mathena and husband John, Teresa Williams, and LouLou Kessler, all of Princeton; one brother, Emmett Williams and wife Janel of Princeton; and many special friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Orville Harvey and Pastor Rob Buchanan officiating. In honoring Liz's wishes she will be cremated following the service and interred in Trail Cemetery at a later date.
