PRINCETON Dorothy Jeanette Smith, 93, of Oakledge Lane, Princeton, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her residence.
Born March 14, 1924 in McComas, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edda and Mae A. Farley.
Dorothy retired from Maidenform with 18 years service.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and sister and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Millard Smith, a daughter, Jeanette Harman, siblings, Bernice Farley, Annie Bailey, Rosa Whann, Delta Smith, Edna Gallyon, Ruby DeCaro, Clifton Farley and Willard Farley.
She is survived by her children: Robert C. Smith of Fox City, TX, Jerry W. Smith & wife Brookie, Rene Neely and Barry Smith all of Princeton; Brothers: Donald Farley & wife Arlivia and Fred Farley both of Princeton, Frank Eugene Farley of PA; Son-in-law, Lewis Harman of Bluewell; Ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Dorothy Jeanette Smith will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Gene Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
