Donna's Story

Donna Vera Tedder, 76, of Crab Orchard, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Delmar and Minnie Blevins Prince.
She was born May 16, 1940 in Spanishburg, West Virginia. Donna attended Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley, WV. She was a beautiful Christian woman who had a great amount of faith and loved God and others with all of her heart. Every person she came in contact with, she would ask them if they were a christian. There was never a person who she would talk to that she wouldn't ask them if they were a Christian. She was loved dearly by her spouse, children, and by many. There could never be a greater mother than her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Freddy Prince.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Warren Tedder of Crab Orchard; sons, Mark Tedder of Beason, Darin Tedder of Athens and Kenny Tedder and wife Patty of Tampa, FL; daughters, Lori Bostic and husband James of Beckley and Alicia Zaccheo and husband Jack of Beckley; brother, Lewis Prince of Beckley; sisters, Maria Prince of Beason, Margret Kerr of Beckley, Verta Baker of Shady Spring and Donna Faye Lacek of Beckley; grandchildren Lindsey Belcher, Joshua Tedder and Megan Woody of Princeton, Sarah Tedder of Griffith, Isaiah Zaccheo of Beckley and Wesley Bostic of Beckley.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Joyce Tedder officiating.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
