PRINCETON — Dolly Ann Brown, 61, of Peggy Branch Road, Princeton died early Thursday morning, January 12, 2017 at the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born November 23, 1955 at Christiansburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar H. Collins and Violet Mae Collins Reed.
Dolly was a retired sales associate with Big Lots in Princeton with 25 years of service. She was a faithful member of Princeton Praise & Worship Center. While her health permitted, she enjoyed going to flea markets, camping, helping with church functions, baking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Collins.
Those left to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 44 years, Timothy Lee Brown, three daughters: Crystal & Robert Cooper, Candy Brown, Angela & Kevin Meadows, 6 grandchildren: Bailey-Ann Cooper, Chance Cooper, Blake Cooper, Kelsie Cooper, Collin Brown & Connor Brown. 2 great-grandchildren, Aydin Cooper & Dechlan Cooper and a sister, Doris & James Long.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Johnny Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery on Peggy Branch Road near Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Monday from 1:00P.M. until the service hour.
