PRINCETON — David Lane Harvey, 55, of Rustic Hill Drive, Princeton died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his home.
Born March 21, 1961 in Princeton, he was the son of Elmer S. Harvey of Princeton and the late Nancy Harvey.
David had worked as a carpenter for numerous construction firms in the area, having last worked for Swope Construction of Bluefield.
David was a people person, always wearing a smile on his face and a story to tell. He was a longtime member of the Ghost Rider's Motorcycles Club of Monroe County.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother Randy Hill.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Teresa Lynn Rowe Harvey, a daughter, Brittany Harvey of Princeton, stepdaughters, Natasha Lynn Clemins and Tina Marie Christian. Grandchildren, Randall Braxtyn Hilton, Trey Clemons, Jaylan Christian, Isaiah Clemins, Breanna Cox & Braylon Clemins. Sisters, Hope Hall & Judie Kimble along with a niece, Amanda Kimble.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of David Harvey will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Eddie Day officiating.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
