Danny Ray's Story
LASHMEET — Danny Ray "Hector" Brim, 63, of Lashmeet passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He was born June 5, 1953 at Lashmeet.
Hector attended the Lashmeet Church of God and was a retired coal miner and enjoyed gun trading.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice East Brim; one brother, Ronnie Brim and two sisters, Brenda Brim and Shelby Jean Brim.
Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 39 years, Sharon Kay Stables Brim; one son, Shannon Ray Brim and wife Rebecca of Greenville; two loving grandsons, whom he loved dearly, Bradley Lee "Little Hector" Brim and Dylan Paul Brim of Greenville; one brother, Doug Brim and wife Mary of Pipestem; one sister, Joann Sowers and husband Sonny of Wytheville, VA and he was thought of as a daddy to special nieces and nephews, Timmy, Teresa, Tina, Tamara and Travis. Hector is also survived by many family and friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gary Raulerson and Pastor Jerry Heaton officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Pallbearers will be "Dumpy" Cordle, "Bummer" Pacitto, Cameron Coppola, Danny Ray Johnson, Travis Brim and Jamie Conner.
Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 31 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
