PRINCETON Carl Venter Pack 92 of the Pisgah Road, Princeton died peacefully Monday morning, September 18, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Born October 29, 1924 in Floyd Virginia, he was the son of the late Edward Park & Della Wade Pack Whitlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Pack and Woodrow Pack.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Philippines. Mr. Pack retired from the Celanese Corp. at Narrows VA.
He loved being outside working in his yard and in his garden. Mr. Pack was a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church on Halls Ridge Road near Princeton.
Left to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 70 years, Mildred White Pack, his daughter whom he loved dearly, Darlene Workman & husband Glenn all of Princeton, two sisters: Joyce Baker & husband Don of Galion OH, Shirley Westlake & husband Wally of Newark OH.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastors Dr. John King, Jim Simmons and Jim Nofsinger officiating.
Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton by 10:45 A.M.
Men of the Church will serve as pallbearers.
