BLUEFIELD — Carl Lee Flethcher, 63, of Bluefield, WV, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home.
Born November 28, 1953 in Iaeger, WV, he was a son of the late Rufus Fletcher and Melda Kathleen Payne. Mr. Fletcher was a Master Electrician and had formerly worked at Joy Equipment, West Virginia Manor, and Bluefield Parks, St. Lukes Hospital, and Recreation Department. He was most recently self-employed, and was an amateur radio operator, N80LG, and loved guns, old cars, and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Judith "Judy" Fletcher; three children, Danita Fletcher-Royston of Rock, WV, Carla Fletcher Chafin and husband Shannon of Bristol, TN, and William Patton and wife Britainy of Maryville, TN; two sisters, Marilyn Ray and husband Jim of Alabama, and Millie O'Dell and husband Mike of Bluefield, WV; and brother, Louis Fletcher and wife Rhonda of Ohio; grandchildren, Sam Fletcher, Jake Royston, and Cash Royston, all of Rock, WV; and Hilary West, Hudson Patton and Harry Patton, all of Maryville, TN; his grandcat, Chloe, of Bristol, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; and long-time friend, Jamie Hamilton.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Fletcher will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
