PRINCETON — Betty Jean Jones, 88, of Shop View Avenue, Princeton died peacefully early Thursday morning, February 16, 2017 at her home with her loving family at her side.
Born March 5, 1928 at Wilcoe, she was the daughter of the late Muriel White and Mandy Cecil White.
Betty Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton A. Jones, and a brother Randolph White.
Survivors include her loving children, Rosemary & Lewis Whittaker, Gary & Debbie Jones, Glen & Joyce Jones, Jerry Jones, and Dennis & Christie Jones, who faithfully loved and cared for her in her final days. Two Siblings, Shirley Tackett and Mary Brown all of Princeton. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 18, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Darren Weeks speaking. Burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery at White's Crossing near Princeton.
Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home.
