PRINCETON Betty Joyce Belcher, 84, of Twelve Mile Road, Princeton, died peacefully, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village.
Born December 12, 1932 in Mercer County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Sturgill Blankenship.
A beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she had worked for Maidenform and retired with 25 years of service with General Telephone Company in Bluefield as a Telephone Service Representative.
Betty loved the Lord and her family and was faithful in doing the Lord's work. She was a member of the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church on the Old Ingleside Road in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Garland, Ralph, Troy, Howard, John, Clarence, Jack, Leo Blankenship, Marie Meadows, Mary Jean Dooley, Hope Martin, and Ruth Sanders and son-in-law, Doug Clark.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Randolph Albert Belcher; Three loving daughters: Sandra Kramer & husband Ivan of Shaker Heights, OH, Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Fiske & husband Rob of Boone, NC, Carolyn Clark of Verona, VA; Three grandchildren: Zachary Kramer & wife Erika, Eric Kramer & wife Page and Samuel (Sam) Clark; Two loving sisters-in-law: Patricia (Pat) Belcher of Princeton and Frances Yost of Bluefield, VA; Host of nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.
Services to celebrate the life of Betty Joyce Belcher will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors C.T. Lilly and Tommy Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.

Tommy Goings, Shannon Breeden, Doug Parsons, Keith Vest, Rob Fiske and Ivan Kramer will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be R.C. Belcher.
