PFAFFTOWN, N.C. — Arlo Kay Dunagan 67, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Friday, March 17, 2017 at his home in Pfafftown NC.
Born April 4, 1949 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Charles William Dunagan & Gertrude Virginia Southern Dunagan.
Arlo was a graduate of Oakvale High School. He was employed by White's International as a body shop supervisor, but his passion was farming. He loved being outdoors, he loved serving and helping others.
Arlo was a member of Hatcher Church and Covenant member of Kernersville Wesleyan Church and a member of the Buckhorn Trail riders.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Linda Wright Dunagan of Pfafftown NC, son Brent Dunagan &wife Sandy of Kernersville NC, a special brother in law: Leonard Wright that he helped to raise of Davidson NC, two granddaughters: Trisha Weiss & husband Seth of Sacramento CA, Kaitlyn Dunagan of Kernersville NC and a great grandson Ezra Weiss of Sacramento CA. One sister Rebecca Baker & husband Jim, twin brother Allen Dunagan and a very special aunt, Nellie Dunagan all of Princeton.
Services to celebrate the life of Arlo Dunagan will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Norman Arrington officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunagan/Whittaker Cemetery on Halls Ridge Road near Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews Thomas Hill, David Wright, Ernie Whitt, Craig Dunagan, Jayson Nelson, and Matthew Wright along with honorary pallbearers being Ricky Seece, Aaron Mill & Austin Mills.
