FALLS MILLS Ann Coffey, 55, of Falls Mills, gained her angel wings on the 5th of June 2017. Born on May 22, 1962 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Betty Lou Mayo and the late John Spencer Mayo.
Mrs. Coffey was a cook for Tazewell County Public Schools for 20 years as well as Bob Evans and Dairy Queen. She was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed crocheting, watching CHiPs, and crafting with her grandson. Her family was her pride and joy, but no one had a spot in her heart like her grandson. She loved talking and meeting new people. Ann was a blessing to many.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by five half-siblings.
Her survivors include her husband of 28 years, Mike Coffey, of Falls Mills; daughter Melissa Nash and husband Howard of Coeburn; son Jacob Coffey of Bluefield; special grandson and light of her life, Brederick of Coeburn; siblings Michael Mayo, Steven Mayo, Charles Mayo, and Brenda Mayo; half-siblings, Shirley Shrader, Judy Gardner, and Johnny Mayo; special sister-in-law, Kathy Mayo; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Tony Reed officiating. The burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
