NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. — Aileen B. Davis, of North Tazewell, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 04, 2017.
Aileen was born July 17, 1926 in Tazewell, Virginia; she was a daughter of the late Lewis Bourne and Georgie Patton Bourne. She was a dedicated LPN having worked 46 years at the Bluefield Sanitarium and Bluefield Regional Medical Center. She attended Springville Christian Church and was a former member of the East End Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Perdue; second husband, Charles Davis; a son, Charles Perdue; a brother, Sam Bourne; and three sisters, Anita Brown, Phyllis Pauley, and Shirley Perdue.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two grandchildren, Rhonda McSwain and husband, Lee of Rock Hill, SC and Shannon Cochran and husband, Tim of Christiansburg, VA; daughter-in-law, Martha Perdue of North Tazewell; two sisters, Sandra Hall and husband, Ray of Bluefield, VA and Sarah Altizer and husband, Harold of Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth McSwain, Matthew McSwain, and Riley Chumbley; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Aileen B. Davis will be held 2:00PM Monday, March 6, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Following the services Aileen will be laid to rest at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Ceres.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
