William Arthur's Story

William Arthur "Bill" Frost, II, of Jackie Withrow passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Born December 5, 1959 in South Charleston, WV he is a son of Merilou Frost Moore and husband, James N. Moore, Jr and the late John Arthur Frost.
Bill grew up in the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, VA; was an avid sports fan; held two degrees from Bluefield State College; and was a former DJ at J104 and WBDY and was a proud announcer for G Men Football on WBDY.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, John Arthur Frost; maternal grandparents, Mary Hazel Watkins and Roy E. Watkins; and paternal grandmother, Violet Cooper.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Merilou Frost Moore and step-father, James N. Moore Jr. both of Midway, WV; three brothers, Dan "Frosty" Frost and Kathy of Bluefield, VA, John E. Frost and wife, Holly of Knoxville, TN, and David Michael Moore of Midway, WV; three nephews, Jereme Frost of Knoxville, TN, Justin Frost of Knoxville, TN, and John Daniel Frost and wife, Brooke of Alpharetta, GA.
Services to celebrate the life of William Arthur "Bill" Frost, II will be conducted 12:00PM Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, Bluefield, VA with Rev. Brad Scott officiating. Following the services, Bill will be entombed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Bane, David Bane, Johnny Puckett, Debbie Ratliff, and Robert Bruce Smith.
Friends may gather with the family from 11:00AM until time of the service Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 South College Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605 in Bill's honor.
