ATHENS Virginia Jones Henthorn, 85, of Vermillion Street, Athens, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, VA.
Born June 28, 1932, in Duncansville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Albert Martz, Sr. and Elsie Gertrude Rickabaugh Martz.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School in Hollidaysburg, PA. She enjoyed quilting and made those quilts for her family. She was devoted to her family and children. Virginia worked tirelessly with the Boy and Girls Scouts.
She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Jones and Donald Henthorn. Stepson, Stephen Henthorn, step-grandson Jason Henthorn, her siblings, Harry Albert Martz, Jr., William L. Martz, Marian and Laura.
She is survived by her loving family, Robert Carl Jones, Jr. and wife Paula, Linda Alvis and husband Derk, Paula Best and husband Howard, Paul Andrew Jones and wife Cristi; Stepsons, Bruce Henthorn and wife Pat and Charles Henthorn and wife Kelley; Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Virginia Jones Henthorn will be at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road with Pastor David Johnston officiating. Burial will be private in the Athens Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family (today) Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Henthorn family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
