Viola Rosalee McKenzie

Viola Rosalee McKenzie ATHENS Rosalee White McKenzie, 76, of Alyssa Lane, Athens, died peacefully Friday morning, August 3, 2018 at her home.
Born March 27, 1942 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Vernie Carson White and Ethel Wiley White.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earnest P. McKenzie, brother, James Carson White and foster brother, Jeffrey Holdren.
Survivors include her three children: Sandra D. Smith and husband Michael of Roanoke, VA, Earnest Glenn McKenzie and wife Genny of Princeton, Stanley Allen McKenzie and wife Tracy of Athens; Ten grandchildren, Renee Brewbaker, Shannon Lecas, Calvin Conley, Amanda Robertson, Denise McKenzie, Wes Comer, Zach Comer, Daelynn McKenzie, Autumn McKenzie and Sawyer McKenzie; One sister, Nannie Belcher and husband R.C. Belcher Jr. of Princeton.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for the care given to Rosalee during her illness.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning, August 11, 2018 at Elgood Cemetery with Pastor Betty Shields officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home, those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery.
