PRINCETON Thelma Louise Woods, 88, of Princeton passed away, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her residence.
Born August 5, 1929 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Dannie McKenzie Dickerson and the late Boyd Albert Dickerson.
Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, as well as worked as a seamstress for Maidenform prior to retiring from Princeton Community Hospital Housekeeping Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Woods and a daughter, Patricia Louise Perdue.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Danny Woods and wife, Jean, of Princeton; Larry Woods and wife, Kathy, of Shady Spring; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Dickerson, of Texas.
Services to celebrate the life of Thelma will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 27 at the funeral home.
