PRINCETON Teddy Wentz Hatfield Jr., 72, of Swiss Avenue, Princeton died peacefully Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home.
Born July 7, 1945 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Teddy Wentz Hatfield and Maribelle Totten Hatfield.
Teddy was a graduate of Princeton High School and a retired field service engineer for Picker International Corporation.
Teddy was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving with the U.S. Air Force.
While his health permitted, Teddy loved to go to his cabin, hunt & fish and spent time with his family.
Teddy enjoyed life, he always wore a smile and loved cutting up with people.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings: Kirk Hatfield & Patsy Hatfield.
Survivors include his two children, daughter Robin Winfree, his best friend and son Brent Hatfield & wife Lisa all of Princeton. Four grandchildren, Chelsee Winfree, Alec Winfree, Kailee Hatfield & Trace Hatfield, his girlfriend, Nancy Trout & her daughter Hope Brown & husband Charlie, their children Braelee & Jayden whom he loved as his grandchildren. The mother of his children, Andra Andrews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Mike Tincher officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Monday from 5 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
