Susan Gay's Story
LERONA Susan Gay Rorrer Stinnette, 60, of Bent Mountain Road, Lerona, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at her residence.
Born April 6, 1957 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Charles Rorrer, Jr and Edna Hamilton Rorrer.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, she was a friend to all. While her health permitted, she loved to go camping and fishing, going to the beach, and cooking for her family. Most of all, Susan loved to make her family happy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles (Chuck) Rorrer.
Surviving are her loving husband of 42 years, Kenneth "Kenny" Merle Stinnette; Two loving daughters, Kelly Ann Mitchelson and husband Keith of Lerona and Casey Neely and husband Mike of Roanoke, VA;
Three loving grandchildren whom she adored, Hunter, Brooklynn and Jackson; Susan loved her son in laws. One sister, Mary Mann of Princeton.
Services to celebrate the life of Susan Gay Stinnette will be held 7:00P.M. Friday evening, January 19, 2018, Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wiley Cemetery on Bent Mountain Road. Those wishing to attend the services are requested to meet at the cemetery.
