Ruby Mae's Story
PRINCETON Ruby Mae Hubbard Harvey, 88, of Whistler Place, Princeton died early Saturday morning, April 14, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born December 3, 1929 in Patrick County Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lance Carl Hubbard & Flora Edna Belcher Hubbard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Harvey, along with five siblings.
Mrs. Harvey was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory, her two daughters: Cathy Toothill & husband Philip, Jo Ann Green & husband Eddie all of Princeton. Five grandchildren: Melanie Croy & husband Andrew, James Michael Green & wife Kelly, Nicholas Green & wife Stephanie, Ashley Toth & husband Gary, John Toothill. Four great grandchildren: Noah & Emma Croy, Ayden & Brealyn Green. Three siblings: Margie Scofield, Willis Hubbard, & Jeannie Martin.
The family has honored Mrs. Harvey's request, she has been cremated and an inurnment service to celebrate her life will be held later in the Woolwine United Methodist Church Cemetery in Woolwine, VA, where she will rest beside her husband.
