Rosie's Story

Rosie Nunley Fournier, 86, of Princeton died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at her residence after a courageous battle with ALS. Faith sustained her until the end.
Born June 6, 1931 in Avondale, WV she was the daughter of the late George W. Nunley and Ida Mae Hicks Nunley. She retired in 1995 as a machinist with East Field Corporation in Baltimore, MD. Rosie was a member of the Princeton Church of God and First Assembly of God Church in Princeton. She had been a resident of Princeton since May of 1995 moving here from Baltimore, MD.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Fournier; one son, Kenneth Wallace; two daughters, Brenda Wallace and Deborah Curtis; two brothers, George Nunley and Norman Nunley; and two sisters, Goldie Strahin and Hazel Brewster.
Survivors include four daughters, June Zitzman and Wanda Lineberry and husband Walter all of St. Petersburg, FL, Maxine Wallace of Princeton and Darlene Pendleton and husband Les of St. Petersburg, FL; one son, Michael Wallace and wife Arletta of Falling Waters, WV; thirteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one sister, Carol Burton of Sykesville, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 18, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Tommy Helmandollar officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
