Ronald Howard Church, age 60, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Abingdon, Virginia.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Lucian and Dolly Mae Goss Church.
He was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area and was a former appliance repairman in the area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Muriel Campbell and Donna Webb; and one brother, Donald Church.
Survivors are: Daughters: Amy Sturgill and husband, Dwayne of Pounding Mill, Virginia, Jade Sanders and husband, Paul of Lebanon, Virginia; Son: Jermiah Osborne of Tazewell, Virginia; Sisters: Elaine Batten of Roanoke, Virginia, Joyce Leach of Peoria, Illinois, Patricia Gross and husband, William, Jr. of Richlands, Virginia, Barbara Rolen of Richlands, Virginia, Tammy McKinney and husband, Darren of Richlands, Virginia, Karen Jackson and husband, Raymond of Pounding Mill, Virginia; Brother: Clarence Jones of Richlands, Virginia; Grandchildren: Baleigh Sturgill and Ryker "Hot Rod" Sturgill; Special Cousins: Tootie Pruett and Trish Morris; Special Friends: Bonnie Whited, Lewey Keen, and Charlie Absher.
Funeral services for Ronald H. Church will be conducted Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11am at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Charlie Absher and Dwayne Sturgill officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Scotty Lester, Barry Gross, Patrick Jackson, Brian Stanford, Keith Stanford, Shannon Leach, J.T. Anderson, Eric Harris, and Bobby Lee Keen.
